Dedicated to Good Business.

A lighter footprint for all.
We are committed to embedding sustainable business practices to offer the best service with the lightest footprint.
We incorporate sustainable principles across our entire operations to ensure environmental, economic and social well-being for today and tomorrow.
We are proudly a carbon-neutral business and operate on 100% renewable power. We have a zero-waste policy, and are constantly striving for ways to lighten our footprint.
In addition, we aim to positively impact the planet through our giving partnerships to environmental causes through our commitment to 1% For The Planet, wherein we donate 1% of all sales to grassroots movements.

We’re B Corp Certified
As a B Corp certified company, we meet the highest social and environmental standards.
Certified B Corporations are dedicated to the global movement for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
In joining th B Corp community we are certified in meeting the highest standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials.
We envision an economy that works for all people and the planet, and know that business can help us get there. We choose long-term investments over quick wins, and measure our success based on the positive impact we create with our members and in our community.
We’re a Climate Neutral Organisation
We proudly partner with Trace to be a Climate Neutral organisation.
We worked with the team at Trace to measure our carbon footprint, helping us understand where we could reduce our emissions, and have offset those emissions we can’t currently avoid by funding certified climate projects from the Trace portfolio.
We measure the carbon emissions of our buildings and travel and offset those emissions through certified carbon credits and tree planting.
Last year we offset 15 tonnes of CO2 by funding certified climate projects.
This year our goal is to operate on 100% renewable energy.

Considered Stakeholder Engagement
We work with suppliers that share our commitment to sustainability.
Purchase decisions are made in relation to Owners Collective office activities and live events. We work with staff, suppliers and contractors to measure and manage, and minimise our impact.
As an overarching rule, our purchasing decisions are based on the product or service with the lightest footprint that adheres to the highest standards.
In our purchase decision making we consider environmental impact; ethical production and fair labour conditions; organic, seasonal and local; use of recycled material; waste disposal; reusable materials; non-toxic and chemical-free; independent certification.

Transparency is Important
We value transparency.
As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, we continue to make our policies, practices, and goals available to the public.
Owners Collective is a 100% female-founded and owned company by Pru Chapman. As such, there are no silent investors, corporate interests or hidden agendas. In short, no funny business.
As a business, Owners Collective serves a purpose, solves a problem, minimises harm while doing so, and aims to make a positive impact on the planet.
Pretty simple really.

Our Sustainability Goals
We strive for continual improvement.
We believe that simplicity is key in reducing our impact and achieving our vision, and so we have set two very ambitious key goals regarding sustainability:
1. To be a zero-waste company.
2. To run the company on 100% renewable energy.
These are ambitious goals, that we’re damn excited to hit!

Resource Use Reduction
We have a zero-waste goal.
Owners Collective aims to reduce the negative impacts of energy, water and waste production, as well as travel and transport.
We are guided by our intentions to:
– Reduce total energy used
– Maximise use of renewable energy
– Reduce water use
– Ensure no contamination of wastewater
– Produce less waste and minimise landfill through recycling, reusing and composting
– Reduce greenhouse gas emissions from event attendee & supplier travel
