Travels with Nina | Nina Karnikowski travels the world Making a Living Living
Nina Karnikowski created a living.. well ‘living.’ She began by fusing her two passions: writing and travelling. Based in Byron Bay, Australia, she writes travel stories for newspapers, magazines and websites. Nina’s career has seen her journeying through Mongolia in ex-Russian military vehicles, exploring the Namibian desert in open-sided safari trucks, dodging icebergs in Antarctica in an icebreaker ship, and beyond, to over 60 countries.
Nina is passionate about working to live, and not the other way around. She has just released an incredible book Make a Living Living – that features stories of inspiring individuals from around the world who have turned their passions into purposeful living, and the challenges they’ve faced along the way.
From a Japanese tiny house builder to a vegan chocolatier to a nomadic photographer this is part storytelling, and part practical advice on how to craft your ideal existence.
A set of practical exercises helps readers learn how to trust themselves, take risks and develop the skills needed to achieve their ideal life.
If you’ve ever heard the calling of adventure, an innate drive to carve out your own path, or simply a dream to do something you love, you’re going to love this episode.
“I felt like I was finally living in a way that felt really true to myself and felt like I could actually have my craft, my own schedule and take the work that I wanted to take.“
— Nina Karnikowski
