Episode 48
Verve Super | Advocating for the wealth of women
Verve Super is Australia’s first super fund for women by women, and are on a mission to help women build their wealth.
Alex Andrews, is Co-Founder of Verve Super and is our very first return guest on One Wild Ride, and for good reason. When Alex first appeared way back in episode 5, it was one of the most talked about episodes to date.
In that episode Alex and Pru spoke passionately about increasing financial literacy of women and empowering women to look at ‘super’ as a powerful tool for wealth creation.
You, our listeners loved it.
So here she is back again for a much needed conversation post pandemic. This time we’re tacking the issue of childcare, gender pay gaps and the underlying system that fails to support women through their child raising years.
Women currently hold $1 Trillion in super, and in Verve’s words, “It’s time to use our collective power and invest in companies creating a better world for women, our communities and our climate.”
“Verve’s mission is to build the wealth of women, its wealth in the context of, yes, your financial capital, but yes, doing what you love. Being with your family, having a community around you. Wealth and abundance, rather than struggle and scarcity, and a lack of support.“
