Generating New Ideas: How to Inspire Innovation and Lead Creative Teams with Nicole Velik

Modern Meditation isn’t about stopping your thoughts, wearing a white linen robe, or burning sage whilst levitating.

Many business owners that we speak to in our community want to meditate more, but struggle to find the time or the right practice that suits them… that is where Janoah’s modern take on meditation comes in.

‘In our current world as a human being, the amount of stimulus we’re exposed to, the amount of workload we have on, and then balancing that with families, relationships and social lives and everything else that goes on in the world is, is huge!’

We have seen first hand the power of meditation not only for business, but for life. We have seen life changing mindset shifts, business redirections and transformative uplevels all with the foundation of a regular meditation practice!

In this week’s episode we dive into conversation with Janoah van Kekem to chat about all things meditation.

‘So meditation for me was the greatest gift in a sense, it brought me into an increased level of awareness around where there are areas that I could improve and what life could look like and more of an open-mindedness to, you know, doing the work and exploring things further’

Janoah van Kekem is a public speaker, Vedic meditation teacher and mindset facilitator. One thing he claims not to be is a spiritual guru levitating around in a robe! For years, he was under the impression that mediation and mindset practices were about clearing your thoughts which he says is impossible.

He takes this approach to normalising mediation, so that he can share it with as many people as possible, and interestingly as a tool to help men navigate the modern world. He says so many people are missing out due to the lack of understanding or resistance from the stigma that mediation can have.

‘It’s shifting our state to a one that is expansive, calm, more open-minded and brings about more compassionThat’s really, really important if you are running a business or managing people and making decisions’

We’re diving in to: A Modern Take On Meditation

  • Janoah’s personal journey with mediation
  • A new paradigm of support using ancient tools
  • Vedic meditation and how it differs from other types of meditation
  • The impact mediation can have on everyday life
  • Why meditation is so beneficial for entrepreneurs

And so much more goodness jammed into this episode. Tune in, listen up & share it with the men in your life!
