OC: TELL US A BIT ABOUT WHAT YOU DO
LB: I’m a nutritionist, yoga teacher, food nerd and author, I’ve just released “The Happy Cookbook”
OC: WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?
LB: I love what I do, simple as that, I think we are so lucky and we get to live this dream so why not go out there and make it all come true.
OC: WHAT SACRIFICES HAVE YOU HAD TO MAKE TO BE A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR?
LB: I’ve never really seen myself as that and I’m a bit t of an everything for a reason girl so I trust the changes I’ve made are all for the bigger picture.
OC: WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
LB: Mother nature, yoga, filing, spreading a message that I love, helping.
OC: TELL US ABOUT A HIGH POINT IN YOUR CAREER
LB: Filming at West Harlem Soup kitchen, I was interviewing a Johny, a guy who’s been visiting the soup kitchen for the past 13 years, and I asked him what he loved about it, he said “thanksgiving, because they put table cloths on the table. They go all out.” And that blew me away, I was so in my head and in my own world but at that moment I felt so grateful, it’s was really humbling.
OC: NOW TELL US ABOUT A LOW POINT
LB: Well losing gigs and deals is never fun, and that happens, but it’s just the nature of working in media, I’ve learn to go with the flow a bit more and to trust.
OC: WHAT DID YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET OUT OF THERE?
LB: To have a bit of faith.
OC: WHAT’S YOUR COFFEE ORDER?
LB: Have never had a coffee in my life but love tea.
OC: WHAT KICK ASS DAILY HABITS DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE?
LB: Yoga!
OC: HOW DO YOU GENERATE NEW IDEA’S?
LB: Get out in nature.
OC: IF YOU HAD THE CHANCE TO START YOUR CAREER OVER AGAIN, WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?
LB: Nothing because it’s all been worth it, even the mistakes have taught me so much.
OC: IF YOU COULD SHARE ONE PIECE OF BUSINESS ADVICE WITH OTHERS WHAT WOULD IT BE?
LB: Believe in yourself, that’s the number one key.
OC: WHAT DO THE NEXT FEW MONTHS HOLD?
LB: More book tours, filming some fun gigs and lots of travel, and I’ve just started writing the next book.
